Whenever my cat chucks one up, I just pick it up and drop it in the toy chest to make it dissapear. Speedy.

Try to move it from the /resource/toyz directory...

you could also rename any other .toy to hairball.toy ... then it doesn't come any hairballs..

Ummm...sometimes when your pet has been grooming itself and you don't brush it, they'll chuck up a hairball. I just put it in the toy chest, or I choose options and Clean Up.
